Osage orange is a fascinating tree, we have a couple in our bAck yard that were started from seeds from a grove in Lincroft. When the fruit starts getting ripe, they can really stain your hands. Has to be one of most un symetric growing trees I have ever seen…

First off- good for you! I adore natural fibers, but good heavens acrylic is just as nice when knit properly.

Second, I noticed that you used the word apologist as a reference to someone who makes an apology. But the effect of this post is actually an excellent example of a true apologist in the classic definition.

Traditionally, an apologist will firmly state their position and defend without admitting to fault. You gave us all the best reasons for acrylic. Thanks!!

Hi Jo, no, I haven’t finished mine yet, but it is a great little kit. I got it from JoAnn online – http://www.joann.com/janlynn-kermit-mini-counted-cross-stitch-kit-2-1-2-round-18-count/zprd_10620474b/ though sadly it appears to be unavailable now. I couldn’t find it on ebay or Amazon with a quick search, but you might be able to find it in a local craft store? Good luck!
